Change IE Download Folder
Published 9/21/2004 in Windows XP Internet & Network Tweaks by TweakXP Member with 8,723 views
  1. Start Regedit and navigate to:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
  2. Change the value of the string Download Directory to the new path you want to assign as IE's Default Download directory (i.e. "D:\Download" has been assigned as my new download folder).
