Uptime for XP Home

The systeminfo command doesn't work in the home edition of XP.
In the run box type "msinfo32" select Components | Network | Adapter. Then find the item: last reset.

There may be a better way but all the tweaks I have found have been pro version only.

NOTE from Allan (Forum Admin) - Two wonderful free third party utilities that provide all the system information you will need are: Aida32 and Belarc Advisor.

PS. All of these edits that start out with "...use Group Policy (Gpedit.msc)" to do such and such are an annoying waste of time to us XP Home users. Here's a tweak tip: if you're tip is only applicable to or your methodology can only be replicated by folks using the Professional version of XP, then SAY SO IN THE TWEAK TITLE like this "...(XP PRO). Save us Home version users a bunch of clicking!!!

In a similiar fashion, those tweaks that tell you how to do something using only that blasted TweakUI powertoy is another personal peeve of mine. Don't have TweakUI. Don't want TweakUI. Don't need TweakUI. But at least with these tweaks I allow that maybe the user doesn't know how to do the tweak any other way. Nevertheless, they are an irritant to click thru.
