trying to access my router

Posted 10 years, 275 days ago in Hardware Support by GodMode

You know you can access a router's setup menu though IE by just typing it's IP address (192.168.10.1) but my problem is why IE always tend to add "http://www." to that address, making it look like this: http://www.192.168.10.1.com?

This is strange because IE never used to do this. I had to install mozilla to access my router but I would much prefer not to have a second browser on my system.

Add a link to your favorites when you access the router "main page" next time. Never type it again
