how do I change my video/screen settings so that whenever I scroll/drag something so it doesn't show the trails and stuff and lag up ><
...do I have to install a driver or what? Btw XP Home edition

Been having that problem too on one of the XP computers here; it's an old ATI 3D Rage Pro 2xAGP on a MSI K7T Lite board. No drivers for it on the ATi site so I wouldn't know if "updated drivers" would help.

Show trails??
I think I might know what you're talking about. Do you not want to show the contents of a window when dragging? i could see that causing trails on a low end system. Here's how to disable that:
Control Panel > System Properties > Advanced > Performance > Settings > Visual Effects > Custom > uncheck Show window contents while dragging

it never did that before...it was perfect before and now its all messed up

Kindofabuzz had a point...
Are you talking about moving an entire folder window around, or about dragging individual files from one place to another? I thought you meant the latter...

Whats you refresh rate set to? If its below 60Hz then that could be the culprit...
