| When I type the cursor will often skip back to a previous point in the Paragraph causing constant typing corrections. I'm Using Windows 7 Ultimate. Please help, and thanks!

First make sure all your drivers are up to date, check on the manufacturers websites.
Also check on your pc/laptop manufacturers website for chipset driver/BIOS updates.
If you're not sure of any specific hardware details you could download and run one of these utilities to help.
SIW [System Information for Windows]:
http://www.gtopala.com/siw-download.html
Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit (Version 8.1m):
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
Speccy - Advanced System Information tool for your PC:
http://www.piriform.com/speccy
Once you've finished the above, make sure you have all the latest important/high priority updates installed via Windows Update.

| Unfortunately, it's the cursor still jumps and typing is extremely annoying. Darn it.

| I actually use both, depending on where I'm using the machine. I notice in my device manager that the synaptics pointing device driver is not installed which is available from Lenovo's site for this model. Shall I try that?

| I did so and it's been working flawlessly since! I believe I recall having to do this once before. I think that was the ticket! On a different note, IE8 doesn't seem to remember my login details on webpages and forms. Is there some tweaking I can do or should I use a different browser? Thanks! Chris Oh-- P.S. I click to email notification of replies for my tweaks.com posts but it doesn't! ?
