| Hi everyone I reported in my last post that the monitor goes off after several hours of usage. So it was guessed that it could be a heating problem. Anyway, I got a new dell monitor. Now it goes to power saving mode saying: No signal coming from your computer. Move the mouse or press any key. so it seems that the problem is with the PC. I am thinking it could be a Hardware problem. I dont know if it could be due to virus. I nees your expert help in this regard. I appreciate your effort and assistance. Thanks and regards SSC-NY

First check in the BIOS under power options,or similar wording, see if there's anything set there that could be causing the issue.
If your display adapter is onboard, check for a chipset driver update on your motherboard manufacturers website.
If you have a dedicated third party display adapter/video card installed, check for a driver update on the manufacturers website.
If all else fails i suggest you get yourself a new dedicated display adapter/video card.
If you're not sure of any specific details regarding your motherboard/video card etc,you could download and run one of these utilities to help.
