| Hi, after doing some anti virus scans, my pc would not connect to the internet, however my laptop still connects. Think some settings have accidently got changed. Then, panic, no d: drive listed in My Computer. Device Manager shows both cd/dvd roms and shows drivers loaded but cannot find the hardware devices. Can anyone help? Greatly appreciated. Did you uninstall the drivers for the CD drive in Device Manager & reboot the computer?

| Hi Chilly, do you want me to uninstall the drivers and reboot? In Device Manager the drivers are there, it just can't find the device. Can you confirm you want me to uninstall the drivers? Thanks Golumb

Yes. Uninstall the drivers then restart the computer. Did you see RichieUK's post?
