Hi everyone. I'm a new member and I was hoping that some of you guys could help me please? I have a recurring Trojan.Proxy.Lager.F that keeps popping up when my wife logs on to XP.
Spyware Doctor keeps deleting it but it keeps coming back. I assume that I need to manually delete the entries in the Registry but I don't know what to delete. (I'm an intermediate user).
This is what I have done so far....
Updated Spybot, Ad-aware, Norton Anti-Virus and Spyware Doctor. Turned off System Restore and rebooted in safe mode.
I ran all of the above programes and Spydoctor found and deleted Trojan.Proxy.Lager.F.
I then rebooted and loggin in on my wifes login. Moments later Spydoctor reports that it has deleted the trojan.
If someone knows how I can permenently get rid of this little nasty then I would be very grateful.
Cheers
