Here's the situation:

I'm getting a pop up in the lower right of my screen. It's telling me my computer has spyware and that I should click here to download spyware remover. It seems to have been made to look like it's all Windows authorized or whatever, but it's clearly not. Seems like it might have something to do with lsass.exe.

I scanned that with VirusTotal and it came up clean.

Any ideas? And, well, what more information do you need from me on this?

Let's take a look,download and install HijackThis 1.99.1.

Launch Hijack This and select "Do a System Scan only". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change to "Save Log". Now press the "Save Log" button, and save the log to your desktop. Then copy and paste that log into the Hijack This forum,not here.
