Hi ...
Have recently had to do a repair install of xp pro on my bro's p.c.
Problem is ever since ...outlook express is taking ages to open up,
How can I fix this...?
Checked for virus + spyware...no probs there.

I think it's referring to the event viewer system log
Start - Run - (type) eventvwr - Return

if you do a repair install the next step should be reinstalling all the MS updates. i been trying to say that for eons, and now MS says it too.
it may not be the problem, but it could reduce others, and makes sure the security patches are in place.
OK, so i am Guessing, but i try hard
