mb soltek sl-75frn2-l with latest bios,athlon xp 2600 fsb 333, leadtek fx2600 (a310),fortissmo III 7.1 sound card, 2 sticks 256 2700ddr, 2x hard drive 40,3 gig, cd writer,dvd player ,400 watts power supply.

                                      
i have a problem which seems to relate to this , on start up of computer , the boot page ie memory testing ide detecting ..etc computer behaves like a bloody 486, memory testing takes about 2 min to finish as for the ide detecting about 5min , entering the bios the pages load up really slowy about 20 secs any key pressed in the bios takes about 5 secs to react however all this changes if i restart the machine during the post, i cant even read any info its that fast and computer behaves normally. 

mobo + memory about 2 weeks old , this happend about 2 days ago when i changed from radeon 9000 pro to the fx5600 and it still occurs when i change back to the radeon have tried new ide cables,memory,battery. The only problem i had with the fx5600 card was a power problem, machine would die after about 2 secs so i got rid of a hard drive, tv in card , a case fans to increase the power and hey presto now i have this problem.

one thing i have noticed is athlon xp runs at 2.09ghz all the info i have seen says it should be 2.13ghz? it did this before the fx card though.
