Err, I found some bad advice in the topic "Log on as Administrator in Normal Mode"
- You should be using a user account with administrative priveledges, you shouldn't be using the "Administrator" account! I don't see any reason for anybody to mess with this account - it's probably used by Windows XP internally, so it might be dangerous to mess with.

| It's on the web page, not in a topic thread . . .

Here it is Allan, http://www.tweakxp.com/display.aspx?id=1421
Anyway, that is not "bad" advice, it is just telling you how to log on to the Administrator account. Using any account with administrator priveleges as a regular user is not good security practice. There is no more damage that can be done with the "Administrator" account as there is with a user with administrator priveleges. It is not user by XP "internally"
Write your questions down on the back of a $20 dollar bill and send them to me.

| OK, fine. I just have my own seperate "Admin" account, and it works fine. Yes, I know my user account should be seperate from an administrative account, and I do.

That article is bull nonetheless. Given it's intended for Windows XP Pro (see at the bottom) it's enough to hit Ctrl-Alt-Del twice; no need to go through all that hassle.
