It takes forever to boot, I often get a BLUE SCREEN and have to reboot and when it does it boots in safe mode. Even when i get emails and go to reply to them I have to manipulate them to answer. The computer ran quite well for the longest time and now seems to slug down when I use it. I have ad aware, spybot S&D, and spyware blaster on it and upgrade all the time but even those have slowed and are hard to use now. Can someone please help me try to get this back in good shape? THANK YOU ALL for whatever help you give.

linux vs M. I've found a place that sells refurbished ones for cheap, but if I were to buy it I would want to make sure I know that it'd do what I want it to, which is (a) have a calendar, (b) have an alarm system, (c) have a note-taking system, and (d) read PDFs. Internet Access isn't something I'd need in a PDA; I'm just trying to slim down my note-taking system.

Which Palms read PDFs, if any?
Also, which other companies manufacture worthwhile PDAs?
Sorry, I'm really new to the world of PDAs.
Thanks,
PMZ

Start Up Unstable on PC

Need a hand if at all possible...

This morning my PC decided to be a "stinker" and not start up properly.
