Change of dual boot system

Good evening people.

My current system is a dual boot with XP Pro first and Vista Home Prem as second. This works fine.

I am looking at the required work to change XP for the RC of Win7 and once I get my pre-ordered copy of Home or Pro (not sure of the finances yet)and then replace the RC with the full fat version.

I understand that the XP partition will need formatting before I install Win7 but my concern is that as XP was installed first I will loose the boot record and Vista will not be seen. Yes I know people will say don't bother with Vista but I currently use it too much so need a transition period.

Windows 7 Build 7127 or Build 7100

Hey everyone, Just as the topic line states there was a version 7127 released on torrent sites. I'm aware that only official Microsoft downloads are considered "safe". But i wanted to know if anyone has used this build and seen any improvements over the official RC 7100. Or is this build just a fake and loaded with spyware?

I get this warning message when opening a PDF using Adobe PDF 7.0.9 "This Program Has Known Compatibility issues "

What's everyone else using to read PDF's?

I am able to view PDF's using 7.0.9, but it doesn't work flawlessly.

Lost internet connection BSOD trying to reconnect using 7057

I lost my Internet connection. I tried reconnect through Network & Sharing Center & I got a BSOD. Computer restarted & still no Internet connection, again tried reconnect through Network & Sharing Center & I got another BSOD.

AVG Free & Windows Defender

I'm running Win 7 build 7077 on my laptop. I have AVG Free installed, and as default Windows Defender is running. I'm just wondering if there's the possibility of any conflicts having both running? I should mention I did not install the Link Scanner part of AVG Free. I have not seen any problems so far, but am just wondering about it.
Any thoughts?
