Download and install HijackThis 1.99.1.

Launch Hijack This and select "Do a System Scan only". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change to "Save Log". Now press the "Save Log" button, and save the log to your desktop. Then copy and paste that log into the Hijack This forum,not here.

Hello, I know very little about windows 2000. Since a coupld of days ago, my computer cannot shut down, or restart or stand by. When I select any of them, there is a small window coming up CSC notification, like if you shut down the program now, you may loose unsaved .... I always click end program now. But it comes up again and again. Sometimes it comes up with "shutting down mmc.exe" But again and again. SOmetimes, it seems the windows already shut down, but still has blue screen with pointer, stay like this for hours. I have to press pwoer button to shut it down.

I cannot find any information for this. But this happens after some viruses coming down days ago when I use a new internet company. I used mcaffe and spybot, but they cannot get rid of somethign like cns.exe, cns.dll. I think something is wrong. Today I found no volume control in task bar. So i tried to open device manger, but cannot open it. No error information, i can click on "device manger"button, but no followup window. Something is wrong. I have not found any other problem. Anybody can help?thx.
